Content Curation

The 𝕏 app remains crypto's town hall—where news breaks and conversations happen. But its broad algorithm makes finding substantive, niche content challenging. Timelines are flooded with off-topic influencer content and phishing accounts so convincing that even veteran users with solid OpSec fall prey.

Another glaring problem is your timeline raids, or an onslaught of posts about some new and obscure project with tons of immediate buzz, but no real evidence of such traction. These are often bad actors using hundreds if not thousands of script-generated X accounts all shilling in unison to fabricate hype.

This could be founders engagement farming for their own project, or just some random anon who sniped a chunk of the project's supply, and is now manufacturing excitement in order to dump on buyers' heads. Regardless of who’s responsible, the root of the problem boils down to inorganic buzz by fake users, tricking real users into buying the hype and getting rekt by the bot puppeteer soon after.

Our solution is a social verification layer through community badge issuance via on-chain proofs. Badger+ users who connect their 𝕏 get their tweets imported into the Trenches feed, allowing you to see at a glance if a tweet author actually holds the assets they're commenting on. So you can confirm if an anonymous PFP really has skin in the game, helping you to better assess content validity and avoid social engineering scams, rugs, or drainers.

Visit the Trenchesarrow-up-right tab to see this in action, or keep going to read about Reputation Scoring next.
